  • Initially, chewing gum is heated to 115 degrees Celsius to form a thick syrup.

  • This syrup is later filtered and refined under supervision of expert team.

  • Later, other ingredients like sugar, corn syrup, preservatives and softeners are added to the recipe.

  • The team allows the mixture to cool down so that they can send the batch for cutting into final bits of gum.

  • These gum bits are finally packed and sent to suppliers.

Today, it’s just not chicle, manufacturers are also using elastomers, waxes, and resins to prepare chewing gum.
